The officers of the National Anticorruption Center are organizing, starting April 2, an informative campaign for school and school graduates about actions of corruption prevention before passing baccalaureate exams. In premiere, only the 12th grade students are invited to the meetings, and the meetings with teachers and eventually, parents will hold separately.
Through this campaign, the officers of the Anticorruption Education Directorate and the representatives of the General Directorate for Education, Youth and Sport of the Chisinau Municipal Council aims to discuss with the graduates, who have already reached the full age, the consequences of collecting the money for giving some attentions or presents to the examiners. Students will be encouraged to show upright and honest behavior both with colleagues and with teaching staff.
According to the agenda, graduate sessions are scheduled for April and will be organized daily outside of study hours. These will take place within the educational institutions in the capital. The NAC experts will share material anticorruption messages with students, explaining the legal framework of the corruption offenses and the sanctions for committing them.
The graduates will also be informed about the national anticorruption line 0 800 55555 to which can be reported cases of corruption that have become known. In the same context, NAC would like to remind that the Center employees carefully monitor the conduct of Baccalaureate examinations annually to prevent corruption.
