A man from Anenii Noi district was detained by the NAC officers and anticorruption prosecutors, being suspected of influence peddling. He would have claimed and received 400 euros from a person to help him get easier his driving license.
According to the denouncer, the suspect has claimed that he could influence the members of the Examination Board within the Public Service Agency, to successful arrange the passing of the exams and subsequently, the issue the driving license category "B".
Following the accumulation of the criminal evidence material, the man was detained for 72 hours, being suspected for committing the offence provided by the art. 326, paragraph (2), b) - influence peddling. The detention operation took place in the parking lot of a shopping center in the capital.
If found guilty, he risks up to 6 years of detention or a fine of up to 10,000 conventional units.
