They shoted from different types of firearms, simulated the detention of the offenders and exchanged tactics for operative intervention. All this happened at the Bulboaca estate, where the masks of the National Anticorruption Center and their colleagues from the Central Anticorruption Office in Poland met. Their mission was to share their practice of practicing the profession.
Thus, the officers of the operative intervention teams and escorts practiced the shooting of the target, exchanged good practices in the field of escorting dangerous offenders and displayed their skills in applying self-defense procedures.
The CBA intervention team from Poland was accompanied by the deputy director of the institution, which had a meeting with the head of the CNA. In his greeting, Ruslan Flocea mentioned that intervention officers are the first to risk their lives in dangerous missions involving anti-corruption officers, investigators or prosecutors. That is why daily training, continuous improvement and exchange of experience with counterparts from similar institutions is necessary not only to excel during the mission by detaining and immobilizing offenders, but also to ensure the safety of all involved in operations.
The two leaders agreed that the officers of the Center will pay a working visit to the Central Anticorruption Office in Warsaw, where they will participate in a series of training activities on the segment of special missions and interventions.
The NAC escort and special actions service was created in 2002, with the establishment of the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption, its mission being to ensure the operations, carried out by the CNA and prosecutors, escorting the detained persons, as well as ensuring their protection, if necessary.
