He would have claimed and received, under the NAC control, 40 000 lei from a man to reduce a fine, that he had to pay, for causing a leak of natural gas.
According to the whistleblower, as the result of digging carried out on January, 29, 2020 in the locality Micauti, a gas pipeline was damaged, the case coming to the attention of the Ialoveni-Gaz officials. Although he removed malfunction from his own resources, the whistleblower was invited to the chief-engineer of the enterprise and ordered to pay 116 000 lei for damage caused, without presenting him an official calculation. According to him, the employee of Ialoveni-Gaz would have proposed another solution - to pay in the cashier of the enterprise 33 000 lei for damage caused and 40 000 lei to him, as a thank for reducing the amount of the fine.
A criminal prosecution was initiated on this case for taking a bribe. After transferring the amount of 40 000 lei, the chief-engineer was caught in flagrance and detained for 72 hours.
