ANRE and NAC have concluded a Collaboration Agreement03.03.2020 415 Views
Today, March 3, 2020 the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) and the National Anticorruption Center (NAC) have signed a Collaboration Agreement. The Agreement was signed by Veaceslav Untila, the General Director of ANRE and Ruslan Flocea, the NAC Director.
The purpose of the Agreement is to achieve close cooperation and effective exchange of information on preventing and combating the phenomenon of corruption, in accordance with the norms of respect, trust, good faith and mutually beneficial cooperation.
According to the provisions of the Collaboration Agreement, regular meetings will take place at the level of management authorities or subordinated structures, study visits, trainings for the employees of the institutions, planning and organizing some common actions, among which, informing the society through informational spots on preventing and combating corruption, participating at working sessions, where the control materials will be discussed regarding the acts of corruption in the energy field.
The General Director of ANRE, Veaceslav Untila has mentioned that the collaboration between two institutions will be based on the principles of transparency and openness in the process of cooperation, on the respect of human rights and public interest in the framework of joint activities, on raising awareness and assuming responsibility for the actions, decisions and promoted policies.
In his turn, the NAC Director, Ruslan Flocea has referred to the necessity of maintaining the level of secrecy of the transmitted information and the obligation regarding the protection of personal data, both for the institution that provides information and for the institution that receives it, to use it only in exercising its attributions.
The Agreement will constitute an effective instrument of collaboration and will contribute to the development and intensification of bilateral cooperation in different areas of responsibility of the ANRE and the NAC.
