27.10.2024 62 ViewsOver 460 employees of the Ministry of Defence were trained on the rigors of integrity by officers of the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) within the information campaign with the generic "Integrity and Honour in the Service of Homeland", carried out in cooperation with the Military Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defence. The purpose of the campaign is to promote integrity and transparency among military and civilian personnel of the Ministry of Defence units and prevent acts of corruption.
The officers of the Anti-corruption Education Directorate of the NAC together with the anti-corruption volunteers conducted 6 trainings in institutions under the Ministry of Defence in the country, addressing several relevant topics such as the risks of corruption and the negative impact on national security and the image of the institution, encouraging the reporting of non-compliant behaviours and protecting those who denounce acts of corruption, strengthening prevention mechanisms by improving internal corruption prevention procedures and ensuring strict compliance with ethics and conduct codes.
We remind that the purpose of the activities carried out by the NAC officers on the corruption prevention component are aimed at cultivating and strengthening the climate of institutional integrity, by promoting anti-corruption and integrity policies.
