Two anticorruption videos of NAC will be run in the public transportation from Chisinau and Balti daily. Advertisements will be placed in more than 100 buses, equipped with monitors, and 20 buses.
According to an agreement signed between NAC and Casa Audio, messages, made in Romanian and Russian, will be broadcasted daily, every 15 minutes, as planned about 6,000 views per day. Awareness campaign will last six months.
Video shows the story of a "corrupt” official and the consequences for corruption offenses - a prisoner shirt. At the end of the video clip, people are urged to call the National Anticorruption Hot Line - 0800 55555.
By running these videos, NAC aims at changing the mentality of the society from tolerance to repulse towards corruption. This change is possible to be achieved by instructive and informative measures, given t he fact that educating people in the spirit of intolerance towards corruption requires joint efforts of civil society, private sector and public authorities in carrying out awareness anticorruption campaigns and civic education activities.
The campaign is supported by Casa Radio.
