Two people detained by the NAC and prosecutors in corruption filesTwo people have been detained today by the NAC and anticorruption prosecutors, following searches, operated at several DETS headquarters in the capital. This is the divisive engineer at DGETS Riscani and the representative of an economic agent, both suspected of active corruption. 

   
According to the criminal case files initiated by the NAC, the DETS Riscani Divisional Engineer would have proposed to the former DETS Chief to conclude a service contract with an economic agent, and as a thank you would receive a commission of 20 one hundred of the contract amount. Following the denunciation, the NAC started a criminal case to investigate the facts described. 

In the investigation process, there were other similar cases in which other economic agents were involved, and the NAC started two criminal investigations for active corruption. Today, the NAC officers searched in the offices of officials from DETS Botanica, Râşcani, Buiucani and Centru, where they issued several service contracts for the aforementioned departments. The searches also took place in a few economic agents in the capital.

The evidence material is to be examined to determine the entire fee scheme charged by certain economic agents and the damage caused to DETS budgets.The Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office is leading the prosecution.
