Everyone of us has heard of the situations in which a civil servant, mayor or a director of an educational institution has not declared a conflict of interest and has been sanctioned for that. What is a conflict of interest and why is it important to find out more about this illegal practice?

We learn from a new episode of the Integrity Dictionary, made with the involvement of the anticorruption volunteers. The dictionary, aimed at wider public, explains the main forms of corruption, but also who is responsible of preventing and combatting corruption.

The initiative is the part of the project “Curbing corruption by building sustainable integrity in the Republic of Moldova”, implemented by the UNDP in the partnership with the NAC, with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of the External Affairs.
