Today, September 14, 2020, anti-corruption training of the inspectors and collaborators of the “National Auto Transport Agency” (ANTA) took place. During the training the representatives of the National Anticorruption Center have addressed the following topics:

·         Vulnerabilities and corruption risks;

·         Prevention of corruption acts;

·         Aspects of ensuring institutional integrity;

·         Sensitive functions, integrity testing.

There have been reported the recent changes in the Integrity Standards and Norms of Professional Conduct (legal status of gifts, declaring conflicts of interest, whistleblowing, denouncing acts of corruption, etc.) During the training there have been described effects and legal liability (disciplinary, material, contraventional, penal) for breaking the rules of professional conduct and acts of corruption.

At the same time, inspectors and employees of the Agency found out about the whistle-blower’s mechanisms, in particular, how the employees or former employees are protected in case they denounce illegal practices from the entities they have worked or worked before. The basic purpose of the activities is promoting institutional integrity, curbing acts of corruption and abuses, by continuing education in the spirit of zero tolerance for corruption. The systematic training of the staff in the field of professional integrity is one of the instruments promoted by the administrative authority of ANTA, designed to contribute to raising awareness of every employee to carry out their duties honestly.
