The CNA director continues the meetings with the representatives of the associative sector. A collaboration agreement with Soros-Moldova Foundation is to be signed

The director of the NAC, Iulian Rusu, had several meetings with the representatives of the associative sector, during this week, including a working meeting with the delegation of Soros-Moldova Foundation. The head of the NAC addressed several topical issues, mentioning the interest of the institution towards a wider communication with the society and the non-governmental organizations. 

During the talks, the head of the NAC reiterated his goal of streamlining the work of the Criminal Assets Recovery Agency, requesting partners to support the areas of competence of the CARA. "We count on the support of Soros-Moldova Foundation in developing the program for the recovery of criminal assets - a process that will involve all national authorities. Thus, we will have a synchronized approach and communication, which will generate the necessary synergy between the National Anticorruption Center, the Ministry of Justice, the Parliament and the representatives of the civil society", pointed out the NAC director. 

In turn, Natalia Camburian, Director of the Department of Good Governance, and Adrian Staver, Program Coordinator of the Department of Good Governance, proposed initiating a dialogue with the specialized subdivisions of the NAC to conclude a Collaboration Agreement between the Center and Soros-Moldova Foundation, aimed at building sustainable cooperation on the basis of concrete objectives. 

During this week, Iulian Rusu had a series of meetings with representatives of non-governmental organizations, as well as governmental authorities from abroad. In his discussions, the director of the NAC mentioned that among the priorities of the institution remain the prevention and fight against corruption, as well as strengthening of the instruments for the recovery of criminal assets.
