The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) under the NAC seized assets estimated at about one million lei, based on the delegations of the prosecutors. With the help of parallel financial investigations 3 agricultural lands, a dwelling and cash were frozen.

In addition to the component of recovering assets, the NAC has carried out its program of activities on other dimensions such as corruption prevention, analytics, expertise and anti-corruption education.   Thus:

·       The Analytical Directorate has completed 6 operational analyzes regarding 9 people, initiated 9 new operational analyzes, and another 91 operational and strategic analyzes are in progress;

·       The Legislation Directorate has received 25 draft laws for expertise, 19 expert reports have been submitted to the authors, and 49 projects are under examination;

·       1300 materials were registered in the Chancellery of the Center, of which 28 are petitions and 328 - interpellations;

·       51 calls were registered with the National Anticorruption Hotline;

·       The Anticorruption Education Directorate carried out 4 information and awareness-raising activities regarding the risks and consequences of involvement in acts of corruption in 2 public entities;

·       107 integrity records were issued;

During the reporting period, 4 persons were placed in the NAC Detention Center, of which one person was transferred to Penitentiary no. 13. Another 3 people were released by order of the prosecutor, and one was placed under house arrest.
