A construction land, estimated at over 242 000 lei was seized by the Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA), under the NAC, based on the prosecutors' delegations, last week. 68 000 lei were taken over by the CARA.

The NAC has also announced other activities carried out during the week. 

.      General Directorate on Criminal Prosecution is 343 files. Last week 14 of which with the proposal to be brought to the court;

.      General Directorate on Operative Support carried out 5 expertises; of one of which is IT and 4 graphoscopic, 66 files are under procedure;

.      The Analytical Directorate completed 6 operational analyses, other 90 operational analyses are under procedure;

.      The Legislation and Anticorruption Expertise Directorate received 53 draft normative acts for the expertise, sent to the authors 26 expert reports an 10 opinions, 51 draft normative acts are under examination;

.      The Legal Service participated in 12 court hearings;

.      The Human Resources Unit initiated contests to fill 13 vacant positions; 

.      1435 materials were registered in the Center's Chancellery;

.      54 calls were received at the National Anticorruption Line;

.      114 integrity records were issued;

.      The Anticorruption Education Directorate carried out 7 activities to inform and raise awareness on the risks and consequences of the corruption involvement;

.      An individual was placed in the NAC Detention Center last week, other 8 accused are in the Penitentiary 11 and 13.
