The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) of the NAC applied seizures, worth about 700 000 lei, this week. In addition to the confiscated goods, a Mercedes s300 (year of manufacture 2017) and 26,000 lei were taken into administration. Currently, the Agency has 180 delegations in the procedure on 127 criminal cases regarding 296 subjects.

Also, the General Directorate on Operative Support carried out 6 judicial expertises, a graphoscopic, a forensic, a technical expertise in construction and 3 IT, 61 expertises are in the process. The NAC prosecution officers have in procedure 331 criminal cases.

The Legislation and Anticorruption Expertise Directorate received 11 draft normative acts for expertise, sent to the authors 8 expert reports and 9 opinions. At the moment, we are working on 28 materials, received from the authorities.

The Analytical Directorate has carried out 4 operational analyses, another 60 studies are in the process. The representative of the Legal Service of the NAC participated in 9 court hearings, and the Professional Integrity Testing Directorate issued 136 integrity records.

The Anticorruption Education Directorate carried out 2 activities of information and raising awareness within ANTA.

The National Anti-Corruption Line received 60 calls. 18 individuals are in penitentiaries, arrested in NAC cases.
