The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) of the NAC issued freezing orders, within two delegations ordered by the Customs Service and the Center for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the National Investigation Inspectorate, on 2 dwellings and 6 cars worth a total of 4 554 401 lei. Also, 5 orders for the seizure of 3 dwellings and two cars in the total amount of 1,298,850 lei were submitted to the prosecutor's office. At the moment, the total value of the assets frozen and forwarded to the prosecutor's office is 5,853,251.22 lei.

According to the CARA, during the past week, 2 delegations were received on 2 criminal cases regarding 5 subjects. 3 delegations were completed on 3 criminal cases, regarding 3 subjects. There are 136 delegations on 103 criminal cases concerning 210 subjects in the procedure.

The CARA also took over seized funds, in cash in foreign currency, in the total amount of 75,000.00 Euro and sent 36 requests to information providers. Currently, the Agency is managing 47 transport units worth about 14 million lei, and 345 million lei are deposited in the treasury accounts.

This week, the General Directorate of Operative Support carried out 4 IT judicial expertises, while another 73 expertises are in the process, of which 6 accounting, 10 forensic, 53 IT and 3 in construction. The criminal investigation officers proposed 11 criminal cases for prosecution. At the moment, the criminal investigation body of the NAC is managing 359 cases. The Legislation and Anticorruption Expertise Directorate received 26 draft normative acts for expertise and sent 9 expert reports and 8 opinions to the authors. Currently, we are working on 55 materials, received from the authorities.

The Analytical Directorate carried out an operational analysis and initiated 3 new ones, another 61 studies are in the process. The representative of the Legal Service of the NAC participated in 14 court hearings, and the Professional Integrity Testing Directorate issued 161 integrity records. The Anticorruption Education Directorate carried out 10 information and awareness activities regarding the risks and consequences of involvement in acts of corruption.

The National Anticorruption Hotline received 26 calls. One person was placed in the Detention Center, 3 people are in prisons, arrested in the NAC files.
