The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (ARBI) of the NAC issued a seizure order, based on the delegation of the State Fiscal Service, on a means of transport, worth about 700,000 lei, last week. At the same time, 2 freezing orders were issued for 4 cars, and a court order was issued for 2 assets previously seized by the Agency, worth about 5 million lei in the bank fraud case. Currently, the CARA has 98 delegations under examination, in 69 criminal cases, regarding 146 subjects.

Also, the General Directorate on Operative Support carried out 4 judicial expertises, 2 conospic, 1 forensic and 1 IT, 63 expertises are in the process. Criminal investigation officers proposed 2 cases to be sent to court. The NAC has in procedure 380 criminal cases.

The Legislation and Anticorruption Expertise Directorate received 4 draft normative acts for expertise, sent to the authors 11 expert reports and 9 opinions. Currently, we are working on 44 materials, received from authorities.

The Analytical Directorate has carried out 6 operational analyses, initiated 6 new, other 101 studies are in the process. The representative of the Legal Service of the NAC participated in 19 court hearings, while the Professional Integrity Testing Directorate issued 168 criminal records.

The Anticorruption Education Directorate carried out 5 activities of information and raising awareness.

The National Anti-Corruption Line received 36 calls. Also, 1374 materials were registered by the Chancellery of the Center.

7 persons were placed in the Detention Center and 9 are placed in penitentiaries, arrested in the NAC cases.
