An investigation officer from the General Inspectorate of the Border Police and an investigation officer from the Ciocana Police Inspectorate of the Chisinau Municipality Police Department are suspected of claiming and receiving, through intermediaries, monetary means in the amount of 5,000 euros for not exercising their functional duties on a case under management.

To accumulate evidence, a search was authorized and carried out in the office of one of the investigating officers, as well as in his personal car. Both civil servants were recognized as suspects, being investigated in a state of freedom.

The criminal investigation actions were carried out under the procedural leadership of the Chisinau Municipal Prosecutor's Office.
