Three means of transport, a housing construction and a non-housing construction, a construction plot and cash, in total value of around one million lei, were seized by the Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) under the NAC, last week. They were seized based on delegations received from the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the NAC, the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS) and the General Territorial Directorate of the South of the NAC. Currently, the Agency has 90 delegations on 62 criminal cases regarding 129 subjects with procedural status.

Also, the General Directorate on Operative Support carried out 9 judicial expertises. Criminal investigation officers proposed 4 criminal cases to be transmitted to trial and initiated another criminal case. Currently, the criminal investigation body of the NAC is managing 400 files.

The Legislation and Anticorruption Expertise Directorate received 31 draft normative acts for expertise, sent to the authors 20 expert reports and 24 opinions. Currently, we are working on 36 materials, received from the authorities.

The Analytical Directorate has carried out 2 operational analyses and initiated 5, other 103 studies are in the process, while the Professional Integrity Testing Directorate issued 124 criminal records.

The Anticorruption Education Directorate carried out 12 activities of information and raising awareness.

The National Anti-Corruption Line received 30 calls. Also 1348 materials were registered by the NAC Chancellery.

7 individuals are in the penitentiaries, arrested in the NAC cases and one person is placed in the NAC Detention Center.
