The officers of the Anticorruption Education Directorate of the National Anticorruption Center met with over 400 civil servants during 6 trainings carried out this week, to inform them about the measures of preventing and fighting corruption.

The employees of the National Agency for Solving Complaints were trained in a seminar with the generic "Measures to Ensure Institutional and Professional Integrity" about cultivating integrity in the public sector, denouncing manifestations of corruption, but also about the role of integrity whistleblowers.

During the week, the officers of the Anticorruption Education Directorate of the NAC visited the medical workers of the Republican Clinical Hospital "Timofei Mosneaga" and spoke to them about the legal regime of gifts, undue influences, the mechanisms for denouncing manifestations of corruption and liability for lack of integrity.

Also in the current week, about 104 students of the Moldova State University learned about the premises, the effects of the corruption phenomenon and the role of the NAC in the fight against corruption. Later, the young MSU students checked the knowledge acquired in the Pro-Integrity Quiz.

We remind, that the purpose of the activities carried out by the NAC officers on the corruption prevention component are aimed at cultivating and strengthening the climate of institutional integrity, by promoting anti-corruption and integrity policies.
