The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) hosted a group of students from the Ștefan cel Mare Academy of the MIA, who requested a meeting with NAC representatives to ask more questions related to the activity carried out by the institution in the field of combating and preventing corruption.

Traditionally, the visitors were informed about the Centre's duties and competences, on the basis of which it operates, and asked the speakers questions about the challenges of the job of an anti-corruption officer. Also, the young people took a tour of the institution, and the NAC officers told them how a NAC employee's day goes, how information is received, how it is analysed and examined.

The future lawyers discussed with the NAC officers about the importance of reporting acts of corruption, but also about the need to involve the young generation in promoting an integrated environment. Some of the young people showed interest in joining the NAC volunteer team, which today is one of the institution's mouthpieces in the part related to the transmission of anti-corruption messages.

At the end, they visited the Guard Unit of the Centre, where cases of corruption are reported to the National Anti-corruption Line - ️ 0 800 55555, as well as the Detention Centre.
