The National Anticorruption Center also participated this year, together with other public institutions, at one of the most beautiful events of the spring - Europe Day. This time, however, NAC employees were helped by a group of young people who decided to become anticorruption volunteers.

Together, they shared promotional materials, leaflets, pens with the NAC logo, and banknotes with the nominal of "0" lei. In the discussion with European Village visitors, Center officers and volunteers urged people not to give or take bribes, denounce corruption deeds to the national anticorruption line 0 800 55555 and to cooperate with the institution.

Throughout the day, the hosts of the NAC tent spoke to visitors about how to report corruption, as well as the importance of civic spirit in preventing and fighting the phenomenon of corruption. The Center's team was visited by young people, children, representatives of public institutions and diplomatic missions. Interested in the NAC tent was also US Ambassador Derek Hogan who also made some group pictures with young volunteers.

We would like to remind that the celebration of Europe Day, which takes place annually in the "Stefan cel Mare" Public Garden, includes a series of activities promoting European values ​​and development projects funded by European funds.
