The employees of the Customs Service took part in a course of anticorruption training, during November - December, organized by the NAC together with the Training Center and Integrity and Supervision Department of the Customs Service. Over 600 customs officers, with the executive and management positions have strengthened their knowledge to efficiently execute the public function though the prism of the promotion of the integrity standards.
In the framework of the meeting the Center trainers have addressed the subjects, under the theoretical, legal and practical aspects, that are related to anticorruption measures and integrity standards, national and international experiences in the field. In this regard, the participants analyzed the ways of denouncing acts of corruption and inappropriate influences, declaring conflicts of interest and gifts, that are responsibilities of the public agents with the management function on the implementation of the mentioned mechanisms and their role in promoting integrity culture within public entities and educating the subordinates in the spirit of intolerance to the phenomenon of corruption.
The training informative session was organized on the request of the Training Center of the Customs Service and is the part of the actions on ensuring the execution of the Action Plan for implementing National Integrity and Anticorruption Strategy for the years 2017-2020 and the Sector Plan of anticorruption actions in the field of customs for the years 2018-2020.
During 2019 the National Anticorruption Center has organized anticorruption trainings for 37 000 of civil servants.
