Judges trained by NAC on professional integrity testing
27.11.2014 3309 ViewsJudges from Chisinau and across the country will participate in trainings on the Law on professional integrity testing starting with today.
Lessons moderated by officers of the NAC Department for preventing corruption will start at the Military Court, and continue at Courts of Hînceşti, Nisporeni, Anenii Noi, Străşeni, Orhei, Căuşeni, Călăraşi, Ştefan Vodă, Criuleni, Bender, Rezina, Răbniţa, Slobozia, Dubăsari etc.
During the trainings, the magistrates will be informed about the practical implementation of the law and the penalties for breaking it. NAC officers will explain to participants the rights and obligations of persons tested, and how attempts of corruption and improper influences should be denounced.
Judges will receive consultations on declaring gifts received while on duty.
Recall that more than 20 000 public officials were trained by NAC starting with February 14th 2014.
On August 14th, NAC has started the process of testing the professional integrity of public officials. Thus, more than 50 000 employees of the public central and local authorities may be tested.
