About 600 people trained by the NAC in 11 activities in Chisinau, Edineț and Dondușeni
The Anti-Corruption Education Directorate (DEA) of the National Anti-Corruption Centre (NAC) has carried out 11 educational activities for about 600 participants from the public sector and academia. Thus, NAC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, continues to strengthen an institutional culture based on ethics, integrity and respect for the law within the public order and security structures. In this regard, training and information activities were carried out in the Edinet and Donduseni districts as part of the national campaign "Integrity for a Safe Society". Through these actions, the NAC aims to promote responsible behaviour among public employees with special status, as well as to strengthen internal mechanisms for preventing corruption and ensuring transparency in police activity.
In parallel with the activities in the territory, anti-corruption officers continue this week to conduct training courses for novice civil servants in central public authorities. The trainings are organized within the framework of the "Professional Integration of New Civil Servants" program, carried out by the National Institute of Public Administration and Management under the State Chancellery. The sessions aim to develop the professional and ethical skills of new employees, emphasizing the correct application of institutional integrity norms and professional conduct.
Also, during this period, the NAC responded to requests from public institutions and conducted trainings on institutional and professional integrity for employees of the Botanica Sector Price and the Republican Dental Polyclinic. The topics addressed included preventing conflicts of interest, respecting the legal regime of gifts, procedures for reporting illegalities and the importance of maintaining an organizational climate of integrity.
In addition to these activities, the NAC team also organized a series of information sessions, as well as the interactive contest "Quiz Pro Integrity", intended for students of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The event offered young people the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge of professional ethics and integrity norms, in a participatory framework aimed at stimulating civic and professional responsibility.
We remind that the purpose of the activities carried out by the NAC officers on the corruption prevention component are oriented towards cultivating and strengthening the climate of institutional integrity, by promoting anti-corruption and integrity policies.
