The NAC trained nearly 500 people during the week in integrity promotion campaigns

The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) continued to conduct integrity promotion campaigns in public institutions. A total of 11 training sessions were organized during this period, attended by 495 people.

The “Integrity for a Safe Society” campaign was conducted among officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova and subordinate structures. The activities took place at the police inspectorates in Cantemir, Florești and Leova, where, through open dialogue and practical examples, the role of integrity as the foundation of effective governance and responsible professional activity was highlighted.

In the field of health, the NAC carried out the “Integrity for Health” campaign, implemented with the financial support of the Swiss Government and in partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova, as well as with the organizations AO CASMED and AO HOMECARE. The activities took place in health centers in Cantemir, Florești and Leova, where the NAC officers and anti-corruption volunteers discussed with medical personnel measures to ensure institutional integrity and mechanisms to prevent corruption in the medical system.

At the same time, in order to promote zero tolerance towards corruption and to consolidate an institutional climate based on integrity and professional responsibility, training sessions were organized for employees of several public authorities. Among the participating institutions are the Agency for Digitalization in Justice and Court Administration, the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Non-Food Products and Consumer Protection, Penitentiary no. 3 in Leova, as well as personnel from the penitentiary administration system, within the courses held at the Training Centre of the National Penitentiary Administration.

In parallel, the NAC officers, together with anti-corruption volunteers, also carried out information activities for the students of the IP of the "Ion Creangă" High School in the city of Florești. During the meeting, the young people were familiarized with the policies and mechanisms for preventing corruption and encouraged to promote the values of integrity and responsibility in society.

These actions are part of the NAC's ongoing efforts to promote a culture of integrity, strengthen mechanisms for preventing corruption and involve public institutions and society in building a climate based on transparency, responsibility and fairness.
