Over 300 people trained by the NAC this week: courses for diplomats, border guards and activities in summer camps

320 people were trained by officers of the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) on integrity standards, within four sessions held this week. Among the beneficiaries are employees of the Border Police Sector of the Eugen Doga International Airport, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of diplomatic missions, as well as children from the Romanița and Dumbrava summer camps in the city of Călărași in the city of Soroca.

As part of the national campaign "Integrity - Security for the Border", officers of the Anti-corruption Education Directorate, in collaboration with the Internal Protection and Anti-corruption Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, organized an information session for employees of the Border Police Sector of the Eugen Doga International Airport. Participants were informed about integrity norms, mechanisms for preventing and reporting corruption, as well as about their responsibilities in the exercise of their official duties.

Also, within the framework of the “Integrity for Children” campaign, anti-corruption officers and the NAC volunteers carried out interactive activities in the Romanița and Dumbrava summer camps in the city of Călărași in the city of Soroca. Through educational games and thematic discussions, children discovered the importance of integrity, honesty and responsible behavior.

Also, officers of the Anti-corruption Education Directorate held trainings for employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of diplomatic missions on the topic “Protection of Whistleblowers”. During the sessions, the mechanisms for reporting corruption, measures for protecting whistleblowers and their role in strengthening an institutional climate based on transparency and accountability were presented.

The National Anti-corruption Centre continues its training and awareness-raising activities to strengthen the integrity climate in public institutions.
