The NAC trained over 90 justice and tax specialists on using the Registry of Seized and Confiscated Criminal Assets

CNA a instruit peste 90 de specialiști din sistemul de justiție și cel fiscal în utilizarea Registrului bunurilor infracționale indisponibilizate

Between August 10 and 21, the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) organized a series of practical training sessions for users of the Automated Information System "Registry of Seized and Confiscated Criminal Assets" (SIA RBII). The training was attended by 92 representatives from courts, prosecutor's offices, judicial bailiffs, and employees of the State Tax Service, focusing on strengthening the technical and operational capacities of the personnel responsible for using the platform.

The Automated Information System "Registry of Seized and Confiscated Criminal Assets" enables competent authorities to record and manage information on assets seized, confiscated, and recovered within criminal proceedings. It streamlines the criminal asset recovery process by centralizing data, ensuring transparency, and aligning with the European standards, while strengthening cooperation between financial and law enforcement bodies at both national and international levels.

The National Anti-corruption Centre serves as the primary administrator and coordinator of this Registry. Through the Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA), the institution carries out operational monitoring of illicit asset flows, centralizes statistical data, and facilitates operational cooperation among users, effectively cutting off criminals' access to illicit proceeds.

The event was organized with the support of the "Support for EU Integration" (EUISP) project, implemented by GIZ Moldova and funded by the German Government.
