Around 1,600 children from 13 summer camps educated on integrity. The NAC concludes its summer awareness campaign

Circa 1600 de copii din 13 tabere de odihnă, instruiți în spiritul integrității. CNA a încheiat campania estivală de informare

The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) has concluded its educational and awareness-raising campaign, "Integrity in Children's Understanding." Throughout this summer, around 1,600 children across 13 recreation camps in various regions of the Republic of Moldova learned about honesty, responsibility, and the importance of abiding by rules in a dynamic, engaging format.

Officers from the NAC's Anti-corruption Education Directorate (DEA), alongside anti-corruption volunteers, turned theoretical and legal concepts into interactive activities. Through educational games, challenges, and informal discussions, the young participants discovered what fairness means and why zero tolerance for corruption is essential in a relaxed, friendly setting.

The themes were adapted to the participants' age groups, focusing on tangible situations from daily life and the school environment. Through case studies and guided debates, the children analyzed how unfair actions affect the community, learning to recognize wrongful behavior and act as informed, responsible citizens.

The NAC's anti-corruption volunteers—ambassadors of integrity—played a pivotal role in the campaign's success. They actively engaged in moderating workshops, promoting civic conduct models, and distributing informational materials regarding official reporting channels, particularly the National Anti-corruption Hotline (0800 55555).

The NAC's youth-focused corruption prevention efforts aim to nurture and reinforce a culture of integrity across society.
