Over 130 people trained in the public and private sectors this week: the NAC promotes integrity standards and whistleblower hotlines

Peste 130 de persoane instruite în sectorul public și privat săptămâna aceasta. CNA a promovat normele de integritate și liniile telefonice de sesizare

Throughout this week, the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) carried out new information and awareness-raising sessions for penitentiary system staff and business representatives, reaching over 130 participants.

The sessions organized for penitentiary system employees addressed compliance with integrity and professional conduct standards, the identification and prevention of corruption risks, and staff accountability in the line of duty. Participants were also briefed on the importance of responding promptly to actions that undermine institutional integrity.

Another session engaged employees of a private company, focusing on promoting and strengthening integrity within the private sector. Officers from the NAC’s Anti-corruption Education Directorate discussed business integrity, transparent management, enforcing codes of ethics, and effectively managing corruption risks.

Additionally, attendees learned about direct channels for reporting corrupt practices: the National Anti-corruption Hotline at 0800 55555 (toll-free within the Republic of Moldova) and the NAC Hotline at +373 78 710 116 (available 24/7, including from abroad, via voice calls, SMS, Viber, Signal, Telegram, and WhatsApp).

The National Anti-corruption Centre continues its training and awareness-raising initiatives to foster a culture of integrity across both the public and private sectors.
