The National Anti-corruption Centre hosted the meeting of the Committee of the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova

Centrul Național Anticorupție a găzduit ședința Comitetului Confederației Naționale a Sindicatelor din Moldova

The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) hosted the meeting of the Confederal Committee of the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova on February 27, 2025, with the main objective of strengthening the collaborative relations between the trade union organization and the social partners. The event brought together trade union leaders and integrity experts to analyse the existing challenges.

During the meeting, the deputy director of the NAC, Alexandru Savca, emphasized the importance of collaborating with trade unions in preventing and combating corruption: “Transparency and integrity in labour relations are essential for a fair economy. Partnership with trade unions can contribute to identifying and resolving irregularities more effectively.” At the same time, the Head of the General Directorate for Security and Human Resources, Victor Filip, emphasized the need to continue maintaining a proactive social dialogue, thanking the Federation of Trade Unions of Moldova “SindLEX” for its support and contribution.

The event ended with an anti-corruption training organized by the Chief Inspector of the Anti-Corruption Education Directorate of the NAC, Natalia Cheptea, for members of the Committee about the mission and structure of the NAC, the impact of corruption on workers’ rights, mechanisms for denouncing corruption, and legislative solutions for combating abuses in the workplace.
