Directors of sports schools under the MER were trained by the NAC on anti-corruption topics

Directorii școlilor sportive din subordinea MEC au fost instruiți de CNA pe subiecte anticorupție

The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) has organized a training session dedicated to directors of sports schools, with the theme of preventing corruption and promoting integrity in sports education institutions, at the request of the Ministry of Education and Research (MER).

During the training, participants were informed about the legal regime of gifts, the prohibitions and obligations imposed by the legal framework, as well as the risks associated with accepting unjustified benefits. Whistleblowers and their role in reporting deviations from ethical and legal norms were also discussed, providing concrete examples of their protection according to the legislation in force.

Another important topic was compliance with the rules in public procurement, an essential area for the proper management of the financial resources of sports institutions.

These trainings represent an important step in strengthening a culture of integrity in sports schools and in preventing corrupt practices that could affect the development of the educational system.
