Anti-corruption campaigns have continued this week as well. The NAC and partner institutions organized joint trainings for hundreds of participants
03.06.2022 114 ViewsThis week has been marked by several activities on information and awareness-raising of the consequences of corruption, carried out in public institutions. The NAC's Anticorruption Education Department continued to carry out training activities in 5 information and awareness campaigns, launched with partner institutions at central and local level.
Therefore, the "Integrity for Quality Public Services" campaign, launched by the NAC together with the Public Services Agency, reached the city of Ialoveni. The messages of promoting the culture of integrity and quality public services were the order of the day.
Another campaign, resulting from the partnership between the NAC and the National Police, entitled "Denounce! Your Attitude Matters", continued at the "Fulger" Special Purpose Police Brigade. Police officers were encouraged to denounce attempts and acts of corruption, as well as the undue influences to which they may be subjected. At the same time, a training activity was provided for the public agents within the Training Center of the National Administration of Penitentiaries.
The medical staff of the Municipal Clinical Hospital for Infectious Diseases of Children in Chisinau was trained by the NAC in the context of the anti-corruption campaign for medical staff in public medical institutions subordinated to the capital's City Hall. In addition to the ways to report acts of corruption, a special topic was the Integrity Record, which can be requested when hiring the medical staff in the system and is an act that certifies whether or not the future employee has been subjected to the integrity test and whether it is an integral person.
The campaigns "No corruption at the BAC exams" and "An Integrity Lesson in My School / University" took place simultaneously in several locations in Chisinau. Integrity lessons were held at L.T. "For Success," L.T. "Spiru Haret" and L.T. "Ion Creanga" from the capital. It is worth mentioning that, in the first stage of the campaign, 24 hours of anti-corruption were carried out with the involvement of 28 NAC volunteers, in 17 educational institutions, for an audience of over 800 pupils and students from all over the country.
In addition to the above-mentioned activities, civil servants from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Environment, CNAS and the Customs Service are trained through the E-learning platform "Anticorruption and Integrity".
All training activities aim to strengthen the culture of integrity among public officials and society in general, by informing and raising awareness of the actors concerned about integrity policies, their rights and obligations, the importance of reducing the risk of corruption and educating young people about correct and honest conduct.
