CARA's Synthesis: seizures of approximately 1.5 million lei applied to criminal assets and another 15.5 million lei confirmed by court decisions

The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) of the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) seized assets worth approximately 1.5 million lei last week, based on delegations from the General Inspectorate of Border Police (IGPF) and the National Police Investigation Inspectorate (INI). These include a residential building, a residential room and a building plot, seized in cases of organizing illegal migration and human trafficking.

At the same time, the previously applied seizures worth over 15.5 million lei were confirmed by court decisions.
