About 30 students - members of the Law Students Association (ASD) of the Moldova State University (USM) participated today in a study visit to the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC). The event included a tour of the institution, an information session and a Pro-Integrity Quiz, organized as part of the activities to promote a culture of integrity among young people.
The visit offered the students the opportunity to better understand the mission, duties and daily activity of the NAC officers presented by the management of the General Directorate for Corruption Prevention. Thus, the participants explored the key areas of the Centre and learned details about how corruption cases are investigated, as well as about the corruption prevention policies promoted by the NAC.
The information session was dedicated to measures to strengthen institutional integrity, mechanisms for reporting acts of corruption and the role of whistleblowers. During the discussions, students asked relevant questions and expressed interest in a career in the anti-corruption field.
The highlight of the visit was the Pro-Integrity Quiz, an interactive competition designed to test participants’ knowledge of ethics, integrity and anti-corruption legislation. The most active and well-informed students were awarded with promotional materials from the NAC.
The National Anti-corruption Centre continues to strengthen its relationship with the academic environment, encouraging young people to become promoters of integrity and to actively contribute to building a more transparent and responsible society.
