About 5,000 Oak saplings were planted on a plot of land designated for ecological rehabilitation in Ialoveni District, by officers of the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) as part of the National Forest Expansion and Rehabilitation Program (PNERP). This initiative is intended to contribute to environmental protection and improve air quality in the Republic of Moldova.
Today’s action is part of a large national campaign, which aims to increase the forested area by 145,000 hectares in the next 10 years and promote a responsible attitude towards the environment. Thus, the institution reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility and active involvement in environmental protection projects.
We remind that last year the NAC officers planted white locust seedlings in Dubovca, Bozieni commune, as part of the National Forest Extension and Rehabilitation Program. The NAC will continue to support such initiatives and actively participate in projects with a positive impact on the community.
