30 NAC anti-corruption volunteers trained at the Anniversary Camp “Decade of the Integrity Generation – 2026”
The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) organized, between July 12–18, 2026, the Anniversary Summer Camp “Decade of the Integrity Generation – 2026”. The event was attended by 30 anti-corruption volunteers, who followed an intensive training program that combined theoretical training, practical exercises, study visits and personal development activities.
The program began with integration activities, presentation of the camp regulations, signing of volunteer contracts, distribution of equipment and creative workshops. At the same time, the young people tested their knowledge in the first edition of the interactive competition “Quiz PRO-Integrity”.
During the training, the volunteers benefited from training sessions supported by specialists from the National Anti-corruption Centre, the Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office, the Technical University of Moldova and partner organizations, addressing essential topics on:
the premises and historical evolution of the corruption phenomenon;
the history, competencies and role of the National Anti-corruption Centre;
the forms of manifestation, consequences and impact of corruption on society;
special investigative measures and the competencies of the NAC in investigating corruption;
cybersecurity and responsibility in the online environment;
the role of the Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office in preventing and combating corruption;
the concept of integrity, ethical values and standards;
corruption prevention in the educational system and the applicable regulatory framework.
A special emphasis was placed on the development of practical skills. Participants developed investigation projects, solved case studies and participated in the “Anti-corruption Quest” application — a dynamic exercise aimed at identifying corruption risks in simulated real-life situations. Also, the acquired knowledge was verified through the educational competition “Quiz PRO-Integrity”, conducted both individually and in teams.
A key moment was the study visit to the Central Headquarters of the NAC. The young people took a guided tour of the institution, discussed directly with the NAC representatives and learned details about the tools to combat and institutional mechanisms for preventing corruption.
At the same time, a special module was dedicated to public communication and the development of media skills. Participants were trained in the field of public speaking (speech techniques, managing emotions, adapting the message) and created video content for social networks directly on their mobile phones, learning to effectively promote integrity messages in the digital space.
The camp agenda was completed by team-building sessions, recreational activities and the traditional campfire, which contributed to strengthening the team spirit. On the last day, the volunteers evaluated the results achieved and participated in the official closing ceremony, where they were awarded certificates of participation.
