About 150 public sector employees participated this week in anti-corruption training and information activities organized by officers of the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) in the districts of Fălești and Sîngerei.

In this context, the NAC implemented the “Integrity for a Safe Society” information campaign in the Police Inspectorates of Fălești and Sîngerei – activities intended for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and subordinate institutions. The purpose of the training was to strengthen the culture of integrity among police officers, promote ethical values and professional responsibility, as well as prevent corrupt behaviors in the exercise of their duties.

At the same time, during the current week, the “Integrity for Health” campaign continued, held at the Health Centre in the city of Sîngerei. The action is carried out by the National Health Agency in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the HOMECARE Public Association and aims to promote institutional integrity in the health system.

During the activities, the National Health Agency officers, together with anti-corruption volunteers, discussed with medical staff and patients the right to fair and quality medical services, as well as the ways in which corruption cases can be reported to the competent authorities. Participants were informed about the reporting mechanisms and the importance of civic involvement in combating the phenomenon of corruption.

The NAC emphasizes that these activities are part of the constant efforts to prevent corruption and aim to cultivate a climate of institutional integrity, based on transparency, fairness and respect for citizens.
