About 250 people trained by the NAC in anti-corruption activities in Ungheni
The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) has continued its corruption prevention actions, carrying out educational activities this week for approximately 250 participants from various public sectors.
As part of the “Integrity for a Safe Society” campaign, the NAC officers trained employees of the Ungheni Police Inspectorate. The central objective was to train officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) on professional ethics and transparency, essential elements for good governance and an institutional climate of integrity.
In parallel, in the medical sector, the “Integrity for Health” campaign continued. At the Health Centre in the town of Ungheni, the NAC representatives, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and AO HOMECARE, interacted directly with medical staff and patients. They were informed about the right to quality medical services without informal payments, the legal mechanisms for reporting acts of corruption, the importance of integrity in medical practice.
The anti-corruption agenda also included training sessions for managers of educational institutions (preschool and school) in the Centre sector of the capital, as well as for employees of the Civil Aeronautics Authority. The discussions focused on identifying corruption risks and implementing prevention measures within the institutions they manage.
We remind that the purpose of the activities carried out by the NAC officers on the corruption prevention component are oriented towards cultivating and strengthening the climate of institutional integrity, by promoting anti-corruption and integrity policies.
