Around 900 people trained by the NAC in corruption prevention this week
This week, 894 individuals participated in integrity promotion and corruption prevention training across 11 sessions organized by the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC). Participants included public dignitaries, central and local government representatives, healthcare workers, youth attending the "SINDLEX" Forum, and students.
The NAC conducted training sessions on professional ethics, integrity, and access to public information in collaboration with the State Chancellery. These were aimed at public dignitaries, state secretaries, heads of subordinate administrative agencies under ministries and the Government, as well as heads of the State Chancellery’s territorial offices. The sessions aimed to reinforce ethical standards in official duties, addressing topics such as identifying and mitigating corruption risks, adhering to integrity standards, and ensuring decision-making transparency.
Another session was held for employees at the Botanica Territorial Medical Association (IMSP) under the awareness campaign "Today's Integrity Delivers Tomorrow's Trust." Key topics included institutional integrity, personal responsibility in preventing corruption, and the importance of an organizational culture grounded in fairness, transparency, and professional deontology.
At the "SINDLEX" Youth Forum, the NAC experts led a thematic session titled "Professional Integrity – The Foundation of Public Service and Citizen Trust." Agency representatives highlighted the role of ethics and accountability in public administration, along with the labor union’s responsibility in fostering an integrity mindset among young union members.
Additionally, officers from the NAC’s Anti-corruption Education Directorate (AED), alongside anti-corruption volunteers, hosted interactive workshops for children under the " Integrity in Children's Understanding " campaign. Through educational games, challenges, and discussions, participants learned about fairness, civic responsibility, and zero tolerance for corruption.
