Assets worth approximately 1.6 million lei seized by CARA

The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) of the NAC has seized assets worth approximately 1.6 million lei, including 8 means of transport and a bank account. The assets were frozen in fraud and money laundering cases, based on the delegations of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes (PCCOCS) and the Chisinau Municipal Prosecutor's Office.

At the same time, the Agency has taken over approximately 260 000 lei in administration.
