NAC and MIA have launched national campaign "Integrity for a Safe Society"

The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC), in partnership with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), launched the national campaign "Integrity for a Safe Society", a joint initiative aimed at promoting institutional integrity, transparency in decision-making and ethical behavior among civil servants, especially in public order and security structures.
During the launch event, the Head of the General Directorate for Corruption Prevention within the NAC, Lidia Chireoglo, stated that integrity is the foundation of a safe and functional society. "Only through responsibility, transparency and respect for the law can we strengthen the rule of law, in accordance with European values", Chireoglo noted.
The campaign aims to strengthen the culture of integrity in state institutions and support the Republic of Moldova's efforts to align with European Union standards in key areas such as governance, professional ethics and corruption prevention in internal affairs bodies.
"Integrity for a Safe Society" is being carried out under the auspices of the National Integrity and Anti-corruption Program (NIAP) 2024–2028 and will take place during 2025–2026. The activities envisaged will be implemented by officers of the Anti-corruption Education Directorate (AED) of the NAC, in collaboration with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Through this campaign, the NAC and the MIA reaffirm their commitment to promoting a responsible and fair public administration that is citizen-oriented.
