NAC anti-corruption volunteers, messengers of integrity at the 2025 Youth Festival

“Integrity is a Lifestyle” – this was the message conveyed by the Anti-corruption Volunteers of the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) at the 2025 Youth Festival, held on August 16. The event, organized by the National Youth Council of Moldova (CNTM), included practical and creative workshops, exhibitions and interactive activities, bringing together numerous youth organizations, public institutions and civic initiatives. The goal of the festival was to promote the active involvement of young people in the social and civic life of the Republic of Moldova.

During the event, officers of the NAC Anti-corruption Education Directorate organized the Pro Integrity Quiz – an interactive game that tested the knowledge and critical spirit of the participants. The questions, inspired by real situations, generated lively discussions and demonstrated that young people have the courage to say “no” to corruption and “yes” to integrity.

The Anti-corruption Volunteers of the NAC also held open discussions with visitors, explaining how to identify and report cases of corruption. The interactions showed that many of the young people are eager to get involved in civic activities and promote transparency in their communities.

The “Anti-corruption Volunteers” program, developed by the NAC, aims to create a community of young integrity promoters, capable of inspiring and multiplying positive examples in schools, universities and localities. Currently, about 75 anti-corruption volunteers are active in trainings and information and awareness campaigns, contributing to transmitting the message of integrity to society.
