CNA desfășoară acțiuni de urmărire penală într-un dosar privind acțiunile ilicite ale unei companii suspectată de încălcarea regimului de executare a construcțiilor

Officers of the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC), jointly with prosecutors from the Chisinau Municipal Prosecutor's Office, are conducting today procedural actions in a criminal case targeting a construction company, suspected of executing works in violation of legal provisions in the field of construction.

According to the evidence administered, the company allegedly executed construction works on a building in violation of the urban planning and territorial development documentation. According to the act issued by the Inspectorate for Technical Supervision, the following violations were found: exceeding the permitted height regime by one level; exceeding the percentage of land occupation and the coefficient of use of the lot. Following the finding of these violations, the local public administration issued a Provision ordering the cessation of construction works. However, the works continued abusively, without complying with the provisions of the competent authorities.

In connection with the aforementioned findings, the NAC initiated a criminal case based on a reasonable suspicion regarding the poor quality of the construction work manifested by the continuation by the responsible persons of the works that were improperly executed and stopped by control acts.

Currently, searches are being carried out in several locations in the Straseni district, with the aim of establishing all the circumstances of the case, identifying the persons involved and holding them criminally liable, according to the legislation in force.

According to the law, any person shall be presumed innocent until a final and irrevocable court decision is rendered.
