The NAC hosted a visit by a group of students from the Ștefan cel Mare Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and organized 11 anti-corruption information sessions in the territory
This week, the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) hosted a study visit by a group of 18 students from the Ștefan cel Mare Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The activity was organized with the aim to familiarize young people with the role and responsibilities of the institution in the field of preventing and combating corruption, as well as with the standards of integrity and institutional responsibility promoted by the NAC.
During the visit, the students participated in thematic presentations and interacted directly with anti-corruption officers, who provided them with relevant information on the mechanisms for preventing and combating corruption, the risks associated with acts of corruption and the importance of respecting ethical norms in the exercise of their duties. At the same time, the participants had the opportunity to better understand the complexity of the activity carried out by the institution and the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in the process of preventing and combating corruption.
During the same period, the NAC continued to carry out anti-corruption training and awareness-raising activities in the territory, with 11 information sessions being organized within several thematic campaigns. Thus, the information and awareness campaign "Integrity and Honor in the Service of the Homeland", carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Defence, was carried out within the "Genius" Battalion, the military centres in Orhei and Straseni, the 1st Brigade in Balti municipality, as well as in the military centres in the northern part of the country.
In the field of health, the NAC continued to promote the "Integrity for Health" campaign. The NAC officers, together with anti-corruption volunteers, carried out information activities for the medical staff of the Drochia Health Centre, focused on preventing corruption and promoting a culture of integrity.
During the campaigns, anti-corruption volunteers distributed information materials and contributed to informing citizens about the mechanisms for reporting corruption.
The NAC representatives also participated, as trainers, in training sessions organized by the National Institute of Public Administration and the Training Centre of the National Penitentiary Administration. At the same time, trainings on promoting integrity standards and making civil servants accountable were organized for employees of the National Institute of Metrology, the Naval Agency of the Republic of Moldova and the probation inspectorates in the northern region.
By organizing these activities, the National Anti-corruption Centre continues to promote the culture of integrity, contributing to the consolidation of an institutional climate based on transparency, accountability and legality.
