NAC organized a meeting with development partners on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day. Alexandr Pînzari: “International cooperation remains essential for strengthening our capacities”
The National Anti-Corruption Centre (NAC) organized today, December 9, a meeting with development partners, on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day. The event brought together representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the European Union Delegation and the embassies accredited in Chisinau, which support the institution in strengthening its capacities to prevent and combat corruption.
In his opening remarks, the Director of NAC, Alexandr Pînzari, emphasized the institution’s commitment to transparency, integrity and the rule of law, fundamental principles for the security and prosperity of citizens. “International cooperation remains essential for strengthening our capacities. The support of partners contributes to the modernization of corruption prevention and investigation tools and to bringing the Republic of Moldova closer to European standards in terms of integrity,” said the director of the NAC.
Alexandr Pînzari thanked the partners for the support provided, emphasizing that only through close cooperation and effective partnerships can concrete results be achieved in reducing corruption, recovering illicit assets and strengthening institutions that serve the public interest.
During the meeting, the progress and results of the NAC in combating corruption, including electoral corruption, were presented, as well as the Centre’s Institutional Development Program, highlighting the priorities for the coming period.
The National Anti-corruption Centre will continue to provide measurable results and will develop joint projects with development partners, for a real impact on society.
