The National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC), with the support of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), organized the second edition of the Anti-Corruption Cafe, an event dedicated to promoting the culture of integrity and strengthening the trust of young people in state institutions, organized in the context of the Anti-Corruption Week.

The activity was attended by NAC anti-corruption volunteers, students of the "Ștefan cel Mare" Police Academy, students of the Faculty of Law (French-speaking branch) of the Moldova State University, as well as students of the Mihai Eminescu High School of Căușeni. The event was held in an interactive format, offering the participants an open space for dialogue and exchange of opinions.

The special guest of the edition was the interim head of the Corruption Prevention and Anti-Money Laundering Section of the Prosecutor General's Office, Alexandru Clatco, who discussed with the young people the role of the Prosecutor's Office in preventing and combating corruption, institutional attributions, as well as the importance of cooperation between authorities and society to strengthen the rule of law.

During the discussions, it was highlighted that preventing corruption is a strategic priority, and the active involvement of young people, legal education and the promotion of ethical values are key elements for the development of a fair and responsible society.

The participants had the opportunity to ask questions, express their opinions and learn directly from the representative of the Prosecutor's Office how corruption acts are investigated and what are the mechanisms for reporting them.

The second edition of the Anti-Corruption Cafe reconfirms the NAC's commitment to facilitating open dialogue between state institutions and young people, contributing to increasing transparency, accountability and integrity in the society of the Republic of Moldova.
