During the week, anti-corruption officers initiated 24 new criminal cases, and 11 files were sent to prosecutors with a proposal to refer them to court. Four people were placed in the NCA's detention centre during the reference week, and another 13 defendants are in pretrial detention in penitentiaries across the country.

The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) seized 16 assets, worth approximately 1.2 million lei, in cases involving human trafficking, child trafficking, and the organization of illegal migration. At the same time, the courts confirmed previously applied seizures worth approximately 7.2 million lei, and 870 thousand lei were taken over for administration.

In the field of corruption prevention, the NAC submitted 12 expert reports on draft normative acts to the authors and completed 3 operational analyses. Also, 117 integrity records were cleared, and about 500 civil servants participated in anti-corruption training. The National Anti-corruption Line received 65 calls, and 1,856 materials were registered in the NAC Chancellery.
