On the occasion of World Whistleblowers Day, the NAC launches a new awareness - raising spot

On the occasion of World Whistleblowers Day, the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) has launched a new video spot dedicated to those who choose to tell the truth, even when it seems impossible. The spot brings to attention people who, through their courage to report cases of corruption or abuse, contribute to defending the public interest and strengthening a just and responsible society. Through this spot, the NAC sends a clear message: whistleblowers deserve protection, respect and support.

The National Anti-corruption Centre plays an essential role in the whistleblower protection mechanism in the Republic of Moldova. The institution is responsible for receiving and examining disclosures of public interest, providing advice to whistleblowers and collaborating with other authorities to ensure real and effective protection. At the same time, the NAC promotes integrity and transparency in public institutions and encourages the culture of reporting violations of the law.

The  awareness - raising video spot was elaborated within the framework of the project "Strengthening the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Mechanisms in the Republic of Moldova", funded by the European Union and implemented by GIZ Moldova.
