Over 400 people trained by the NAC during June 9–12, 2025 within the integrity and transparency campaigns
The Anti-corruption Education Directorate (DEA) of the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) has conducted six training sessions, informing over 400 participants from the public administration, the medical system and the justice sector. The activities were carried out within the framework of the campaigns, carried out with the support of local authorities, civil society organizations and partner public institutions.
Integrity in local elections: The "I Decide with Integrity - I Vote with Accountability" campaign, launched in February 2025, continued in the Criuleni and Ialoveni districts, with the objective of strengthening integrity in the electoral process and reducing corruption risks in local public administration. The activities were carried out in partnership with the Territorial Offices of the State Chancellery and aimed at promoting civic responsibility, informed involvement and strengthening a sustainable democracy.
Integrity in healthcare: As part of the “Integrity for Health” campaign, carried out together with the Ministry of Health, AO HOMECARE and the territorial medical institutions in Criuleni and Ialoveni, the NAC informed medical professionals and patients about their rights and about the mechanisms for reporting acts of corruption. The sessions held in medical institutions contribute to the development of a more transparent, equitable and patient-centred healthcare system.
Integrity in the justice sector and central administration: Employees of the Supreme Court of Justice participated in a training session on professional ethics, prevention of conflicts of interest, the legal regime of gifts and incompatibilities, as well as compliance with the rules of professional conduct.
Integrity in law enforcement: A similar training took place within the Material Reserves Agency, focused on developing the skills necessary to exercise public office in accordance with integrity standards.
Thus, the NAC reaffirms its commitment to building a society based on transparency, accountability and legality, through education, inter-institutional collaboration and active civic involvement.
