Over 750 People trained by the NAC during this week's anti-corruption education sessions

This week, the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC) carried out seven information and anti-corruption education activities for 757 individuals. Participants included members of the Joint Internship Program of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, children, and penitentiary system staff.

As part of the EU–Government of Moldova Joint Internship Program, the NAC officers held a dedicated session for a group of 120 interns. Discussions focused on the essential role of whistleblowers in preventing and combating corruption, the importance of reporting institutional irregularities, national and international protection mechanisms, and the role of the National Anti-corruption Centre in this area.

Concurrently, officers from the NAC’s Anti-corruption Education Directorate (DEA), alongside anti-corruption volunteers, organized interactive activities for children under the "Integrity in Children’s Understanding" campaign. Through games, challenges, and guided discussions, the young participants were encouraged to engage actively and learn about integrity, responsibility, and zero tolerance for corruption in an age-appropriate way.

Another priority track focused on training penitentiary system personnel. The NAC trainers addressed specific integrity risks tied to operational duties, practical measures for preventing corruption offenses, strict compliance with deontological norms, and maintaining irreproachable conduct in high-risk situations.

The National Anti-corruption Centre continues its educational and awareness-raising initiatives to strengthen integrity across public institutions.
